JASON LOTHIAN, BA JD
I have degrees in English Literature, Journalism and Law. Most of that education was paid for by fighting forest fires in Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, the Yukon and Ontario.
Prior to studying law I worked as a newspaper editor, reporter and foreign correspondent in southern Alberta, London, England and West Africa (Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali and Cote d’Ivoire).
Since being called to the Bar, I have worked for a variety of firms and organizations in the City of Calgary, most recently the Real Estate Council of Alberta where I was employed as Legal Counsel.
When not in the City, I can usually be found fly-fishing my favorite rivers.
